Souvagya Mohapatra Appointed Chair of FICCI Eastern Region Tourism Committee

Atmosphere Core’s South Asia Managing Director Souvagya Mohapatra to lead regional tourism development and industry collaboration

Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director–India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka at Atmosphere Core, has been appointed Chair of the FICCI Eastern Region Tourism Committee under the FICCI National Tourism Committee for a one-year term.

 

The appointment acknowledges his extensive leadership experience in hospitality and tourism, as well as his deep understanding of regional and national tourism ecosystems.

 

With more than three decades of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, Mohapatra is recognised as a strategic business leader with a strong track record in hotel operations, brand expansion and destination development.

 

In his current role at Atmosphere Core, he oversees the company's growth strategy across India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka while contributing to its broader Asia-Pacific expansion.
