Sayaji Hotels has announced the launch of Enrise by Sayaji, Junagadh, marking its entry into Gujarat’s culturally rich Saurashtra region. Located on Bhesana Road, the 24-key property strengthens the group’s growing Enrise portfolio and offers a well-connected base for travellers exploring this historic destination.

Junagadh, meaning “Old Fort,” is steeped in history and architectural legacy. The ancient Uparkot Fort, dating back to the 4th century BCE, and the Ashokan Rock Edicts from around 250 BCE underscore the city’s historical significance. Landmarks such as the Mahabat Maqbara further highlight its blend of Indo-Islamic and European architectural influences.

The city also serves as a gateway to key natural and spiritual attractions. Girnar Hill, an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Jains, features hundreds of temples, while Gir National Park—approximately 80 km away—is the last natural habitat of the Asiatic lion. Together, these elements position Junagadh as a unique hub for heritage, pilgrimage, and wildlife tourism.

Villa-Style Accommodation

Enrise by Sayaji, Junagadh, is designed to align with the region’s diverse tourism appeal. The property features 24 spacious 1-BHK villa-style rooms, each spanning 425 sq. ft., offering enhanced privacy and comfort suited for families and extended stays.

The hotel’s dining offering includes Momentt, a 52-cover multi-cuisine restaurant. Its event facilities feature Jewel, a 4,000 sq. ft. banquet hall accommodating up to 300 guests in a theatre-style setup. Additionally, the Vrindavan Lawn, spread across 15,500 sq. ft., can host up to 500 guests, catering to weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events.

Connectivity and Accessibility

The property is located 15 km from Junagadh Railway Station, 55 km from Keshod Airport, and 130 km from Rajkot Airport, ensuring convenient access for both leisure and business travellers.

Leadership Commentary

Bharat Shingala, Owner, Enrise by Sayaji, Junagadh, highlighted the opportunity in the market, noting that while Junagadh holds significant cultural and natural appeal, quality accommodation options have remained limited. He added, “Enrise by Sayaji aims to deliver a stay experience that reflects the richness of the region while maintaining brand consistency.”

Rajendra Joshi, Associate General Manager, Sayaji Hotels, emphasised that the Enrise brand is tailored for modern, experience-driven travellers. He noted that “Junagadh’s blend of wildlife, pilgrimage routes, and heritage landmarks aligns well with the brand’s positioning, while also reinforcing Gujarat as a key growth market.”

With the summer travel season approaching, Enrise by Sayaji, Junagadh, is well-positioned to attract families and leisure travellers. Its villa-style accommodations and proximity to major attractions make it a compelling choice for those seeking comfort, space, and convenience.
