ITC Hotels Limited continues to strengthen its growth trajectory with the launch of its 10th property under Brand Storii. The latest addition, Storii Castle Kanota, is a 52-key heritage property located in Rajasthan. The opening coincides with the completion of 150 years of the historic Castle Kanota estate, marking a significant milestone for both the brand and the property.

The collaboration with the Kanota family is anchored in shared values of heritage preservation, authenticity and responsible hospitality, with a focus on sustaining local legacy while delivering differentiated guest experiences.

Brand Storii: Curated Heritage-Led Hospitality

Brand Storii is positioned as ITC Hotels’ collection of distinctive destinations that showcase unique architecture, cultural narratives and regional identity. Each property under the brand reflects a strong sense of place and tradition.

Commenting on the association, Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said that Brand Storii celebrates diversity through properties that are defined by their destination and architectural uniqueness. He noted that Castle Kanota stands out for its lived history, continuity of family stewardship and deep-rooted cultural ethos, making it a natural fit within the Storii portfolio.

Storii Castle Kanota has been developed with a focus on safeguarding the estate’s architectural integrity, historic artefacts and the rhythms of a family residence that continues to be occupied. Guests will experience modern comforts alongside curated narratives, traditional cuisine and long-standing rituals that have shaped the property over generations.

The offering aims to deliver an immersive experience of Rajasthan’s living heritage, combining authenticity with refined hospitality.

Partnership Rooted in Shared Values

Thakur Man Singh Kanota, custodian of the Castle Kanota estate, stated that the property has historically embodied duty and hospitality, with each generation adapting to changing times while remaining anchored in core values. He highlighted that the partnership with Storii by ITC Hotels aligns closely with the family’s approach to mindful and responsible hospitality, particularly as the estate marks its 150-year legacy.

Founded in the mid-19th century by Thakur Zorawar Singh ji, an aristocrat in service of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Castle Kanota began as a jagir headquarters before evolving into a lived-in family residence. The estate has been shaped by generations involved in public service, military leadership, scholarship and heritage conservation.

In 1971, Castle Kanota opened its doors to travellers, integrating hospitality into family life while preserving its historical and cultural character.
