Olive Garden Opens First Restaurant at Worldmark Aerocity, Eyes 125 Outlets in India

Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group introduces the brand’s signature American Italian dining experience to India.

Olive Garden has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its first outlet at World St. at Worldmark, Aerocity, New Delhi. The brand’s India foray is being led by Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group (GIHG), which will spearhead Olive Garden’s expansion and growth strategy in the country.

 

The opening marks a significant milestone in India’s evolving premium dining landscape, bringing the brand’s signature blend of comforting American-Italian cuisine and warm, family-style hospitality to Indian consumers.

A Strategic Expansion into India’s Growing Dining Market

Ramit Bharti Mittal, Executive Chairman & Director, Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group, said the introduction of Olive Garden aligns with the group’s broader vision of bringing globally admired dining concepts to India. “Launching Olive Garden in India is a natural progression of our vision to bring thoughtfully chosen global dining icons to India to cater to the evolving consumer aspirations in the country,” he said. “In close collaboration with Darden International & Franchising, we have ensured that the brand’s hallmark hospitality, comfort-driven menu, and celebratory family-style experience are authentically reimagined for India.”

Bringing the Tuscan Experience to New Delhi

Designed to reflect Olive Garden’s Tuscan-inspired heritage, the restaurant at Worldmark Aerocity features sunlit interiors, rustic textures, warm lighting, and a welcoming ambience inspired by the charm of the Italian countryside.

 

The outlet includes thoughtfully curated indoor and alfresco dining spaces, conceptualised by Incubis Consultants, creating a versatile setting suited for family gatherings, celebrations, and everyday dining experiences.

 

Located within one of Delhi’s leading lifestyle and hospitality destinations, the restaurant is expected to attract both local diners and international travellers visiting Aerocity.

Expansion Plans Ahead

Following its India debut, Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group plans to expand Olive Garden’s footprint across key Indian markets, introducing the brand’s signature dining experience to a wider audience.
