Sterling Holiday Resorts has expanded its wildlife hospitality portfolio with the launch of Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett, a 46-key resort in Ramnagar. The opening marks Sterling’s second property in the Corbett landscape and 11th in Uttarakhand, taking its wildlife portfolio to 13 resorts and more than 480 rooms and suites.

The expansion reflects Sterling’s strategy of building clusters in high-potential leisure destinations rather than relying on standalone properties. In Corbett, the second resort gives the company a wider footprint across one of India’s most established wildlife tourism markets.

Doubling Down on Wildlife

Sterling’s wildlife portfolio now spans 10 destinations, including Corbett, Gir, Kanha, Pench, Ranthambore, Sariska, Thekkady, Wayanad, Anaikatti and Tipeshwar—covering tiger reserves, lion habitats, rainforest ecosystems and Himalayan forests.

Located in the quieter Bail Parao–Kaladhungi belt, Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett features 46 rooms across five categories, including select rooms with private sit-outs, balconies and plunge pools. The resort also offers a swimming pool, spa and all-day dining restaurant, Nectar.

Sterling is simultaneously targeting the growing celebrations and corporate-retreat market. A 2,800 sq. ft. banquet hall and two landscaped lawns position the property for destination weddings, social events, corporate offsites and incentive groups.

Expanding the Corbett Destination Cluster

The growth comes as wildlife tourism increasingly moves beyond safari-led short breaks towards longer, experience-driven stays combining nature, local culture, wellness and leisure.

“Wildlife tourism in India is undergoing a significant transformation,” says Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd. “Our strategy has been to build destination clusters across India’s most iconic wildlife regions, enabling guests to experience these destinations in richer and more diverse ways while enjoying the consistency of Sterling’s hospitality. Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett is another important milestone in strengthening that vision.”

For Sterling, Quinta Jim Corbett is more than another resort opening. It adds scale to a destination-cluster model that is becoming central to the company’s play in India’s fast-evolving nature and wildlife hospitality market.
