Adani Airports & IHG Hotels Seal 1,500-Key Hospitality Deal—Kimpton Debuts in India
AAHL and IHG Hotels & Resorts will develop five hotels across India’s fast-growing airport-linked urban destinations, adding nearly 1,500 keys.

Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), India’s largest private airport operator, has entered into a landmark managed hotel portfolio agreement with IHG Hotels & Resorts to develop five hotels across key airport-linked and high-growth urban destinations in India. The partnership will add nearly 1,500 rooms across multiple hospitality brands, supporting IHG’s expansion strategy in India and aligning with the country’s rising travel demand and rapid aviation-led urban development.
The planned portfolio includes a Kimpton hotel in Jaipur, alongside Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties within Adani Airport City developments in Navi Mumbai, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram. The hotels will form part of integrated mixed-use urban ecosystems centered around airports, hospitality, retail and commercial infrastructure.
AAHL and IHG are also in advanced discussions to further expand their collaboration across additional destinations.

Kimpton Brand to Debut in India
The agreement marks the entry of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants into India. Globally recognized for its boutique luxury positioning, design-led hotels and chef-driven dining experiences, Kimpton’s launch reflects growing demand for premium lifestyle hospitality offerings in the Indian market.
The development comes amid strong momentum in India’s aviation and tourism sectors, with airport-led infrastructure increasingly emerging as a major driver of hospitality and commercial growth.

AAHL currently serves millions of passengers annually across its airport network and is developing airport city projects spanning approximately 663 acres across key Indian cities.
