Atmosphere Core Expands India Portfolio With 180-Key Vizag Eco Resort
Atmosphere Hillora Eco Resort Visakhapatnam is scheduled to open in Q1 2029, strengthening the hospitality group’s presence in Southern India.

Atmosphere Core has partnered with A V N G Developers LLP to develop Atmosphere Hillora Eco Resort Visakhapatnam, a 180-key luxury eco resort in the Eastern Ghats.
Scheduled to open in Q1 2029, the property will feature cottages, suites and private-pool villas, with a design centred around the region’s forests, lakes and mountainous landscape.
Growing the India Footprint
The Vizag signing adds another property to Atmosphere Core’s expanding India pipeline. With a 180-key inventory and a multi-segment positioning, the resort represents the company’s push into emerging destinations where leisure and business travel demand increasingly overlap.
Beyond leisure travel, the resort is being positioned for destination weddings, MICE and corporate events. Plans include large convention halls, conference rooms, boardrooms and outdoor event spaces.
The property will also offer multiple restaurants and bars, a swimming pool, fitness centre and the brand’s ELE|NA Ayur Spa.

Why Visakhapatnam?
The signing reflects Atmosphere Core’s wider expansion strategy in India and its focus on destinations with both tourism and business demand.
Visakhapatnam combines a growing leisure market with its role as a major port, industrial and commercial hub. This mix is expected to support demand across weekend leisure, weddings, corporate travel and MICE.
