IHCL to Launch a SeleQtions Hotel in Devanahalli, Bengaluru
IHCL announces the signing of a SeleQtions hotel in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, a conversion of a standalone resort with expansion of inventory to 120 keys.

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announced the signing of a SeleQtions hotel in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The project involves the conversion of an existing standalone resort, along with an expansion of inventory to approximately 120 keys.
Commenting on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President–Real Estate & Development, IHCL, highlighted Bengaluru’s strong growth fundamentals driven by its IT and entrepreneurial ecosystem. She noted that North Bengaluru, particularly Devanahalli, is emerging as a key growth corridor supported by airport expansion and the presence of aerospace, biotechnology, defence, and education sectors.
She added that this signing marks the debut of the SeleQtions brand in Bengaluru and will further strengthen IHCL’s presence in a strategic lodging market. IHCL is partnering with BABA Developers Private Limited for the project.
Hotel Overview and Facilities
The SeleQtions Prakruthi Resort, Devanahalli, Bengaluru, will feature around 115 keys and offer a diverse culinary portfolio, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a lounge. The hotel will also provide comprehensive wellness and recreational amenities such as a spa, gym, and swimming pool.
In addition, the property will house over 6,000 sq. ft. of banqueting space complemented by flexible meeting rooms, positioning it as a suitable venue for both social and corporate events.
Parvataneni Sasibhushan, Managing Director, BABA Developers Private Limited, expressed confidence in the partnership, stating that the collaboration with IHCL aims to introduce the SeleQtions brand to Bengaluru and create a distinctive hospitality offering in Devanahalli.
With this addition, IHCL’s Bengaluru portfolio will expand to 20 hotels, including 11 properties currently under development, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to the city’s hospitality market.
