ITC Hotels Limited has announced the signing of a management agreement for Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Salasar, a 145-key property planned on a six-acre site in Rajasthan’s prominent spiritual destination of Salasar.
The upcoming hotel is positioned as a new experiential hospitality landmark, designed to serve the growing influx of pilgrimage travellers while also tapping into demand for destination weddings, social gatherings, and leisure stays.
Strengthening Presence in Rajasthan

A Destination Anchored in Spiritual Footfall
Salasar, home to the widely revered Salasar Balaji Temple, continues to witness strong year-round footfall from pilgrims. In recent years, it has also emerged as a preferred location for family gatherings and social celebrations, driving demand for quality hospitality infrastructure. The new Welcomhotel aims to address this shift by offering a premium branded experience rooted in the cultural ethos of the region.
The hotel’s architectural language will draw inspiration from traditional Rajasthani aesthetics, incorporating intricately detailed façades, courtyards and arched structures, and jaalis and regional design motifs. The development is intended to create an immersive environment reflecting the heritage and warmth of Rajasthan.
The signing reinforces ITC Hotels’ continued focus on expanding in culturally significant and high-potential leisure markets, while building hospitality assets that reflect India’s regional diversity and heritage-led travel demand.
