ITC Hotels Limited has signed a management contract for Storii by ITC Hotels, Sanjay Dubri, a 30-key boutique retreat in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district.

Located amid the wilderness of Sanjay Dubri National Park, the signing expands the Storii portfolio into another emerging leisure destination as ITC Hotels looks to strengthen its presence across experiential travel markets.

Designed around its natural setting, Storii by ITC Hotels, Sanjay Dubri will comprise villas and suites alongside dining, recreation and intimate event spaces.

The guest experience will focus on wildlife exploration, nature, wellness and locally inspired activities, positioning the property for experiential travellers, families and small social gatherings.

Building on Central India’s wildlife appeal

The signing reflects ITC Hotels’ broader strategy of expanding into emerging leisure corridors through boutique properties rooted in local culture and a strong sense of place.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, “India’s diverse landscapes continue to open up new possibilities for experiential travel, with wildlife destinations emerging as sought-after retreats for discerning travellers. Sanjay Dubri, with its rich ecological heritage and relatively unexplored wilderness, presents an exciting opportunity to create a hospitality experience that is deeply connected to its natural surroundings. Through Storii by ITC Hotels, we look forward to bringing alive the character of this destination through thoughtful hospitality, while contributing to the evolution of its tourism potential.”

Improving road connectivity from Prayagraj, Jabalpur, Rewa and Varanasi is also expected to broaden access to the destination.

Pankaj Phulwani, Director, M/s Sal Tree Resorts Private Limited, said, “Our vision is to create a distinctive wildlife retreat that allows guests to experience the region’s natural beauty in an intimate manner. With this expertise in creating differentiated hospitality experiences, ITC Hotels is an ideal partner to bring this vision to life.”

Sanjay Dubri National Park, known for its sal forests and tiger habitat, is emerging as a wildlife destination in Central India. Its proximity to established circuits such as Bandhavgarh and Kanha adds to its tourism potential.
