IHCL Conducts Bharat EkSaath Walkathon Across 14 Countries, 200+ Locations To Drive Social Impact

IHCL champions responsible hospitality through the Bharat EkSaath Walkathon, raising funds for the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust; Delhi-NCR walkathons span multiple IHCL properties.

IHCL continues to advance its sustainability and social impact agenda through Paathya, its ESG+ framework.

 

Marking its fourth year, the company reinforced its commitment to responsible tourism through the Bharat EkSaath Walkathon, an inclusive 3 km initiative conducted as part of a larger global movement spanning 14 countries and over 200 locations.

 

The walkathon brought together associates, their families, partners, vendors and local communities, with funds raised supporting the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust (TPSWT).

Walkathon Highlights

In Delhi-NCR, the initiative was executed across three key locations, each reflecting a strong sense of community and shared purpose. The walkathon commenced at Taj Mahal, New Delhi, with participation from Taj Mahal, New Delhi, The Connaught, New Delhi - IHCL SeleQtions, Ambassador, New Delhi - IHCL SeleQtions, The Claridges New Delhi and Ginger, alongside members of Sheroes – Chhanv Foundation, highlighting resilience and inclusion.

 

Simultaneously, Taj Palace, New Delhi hosted a diverse group of participants including teams from Taj Palace, Taj Safaris, Soulinaire and The Clarks Hotels and Resorts, as well as defence veterans, elderly residents from the Ashok Sawhney Foundation Old Age Home, neurodivergent children from Muskaan Foundation, children from Sankalp NGO and volunteers from Shakti Shalini. The event also featured a Paathya-led seedball activity conducted by Hara Jeevan, promoting environmental stewardship.

 

In Gurugram, the walkathon was flagged off at Taj City Centre Gurugram with participation from Taj City Centre Gurugram, Taj Damdama Lake Resort and Spa, Taj Surajkund Resort and Spa, Delhi NCR and Vivanta New Delhi Dwarka, reflecting strong engagement across the region.

Leadership Perspective
