Hilton and NILE Hospitality announced the signing of five Hampton by Hilton hotels across India, advancing their long-term partnership to scale the brand through a strategic licensing agreement. The new hotels will capture demand from India’s buoyant mid-market segment and join more than 3,000 Hampton by Hilton hotels around the world.
Together, the first five hotels in India under the agreement – two in Amritsar, one each in Vrindavan and Raipur and one in Lonavala – comprise more than 350 keys and are expected to open within the next two years. This phase brings the brand’s trusted global experience to India, enhanced by localised design, service, and amenity offerings tailored to Indian traveler preferences.

Targeting India’s Fast-Growing Mid-Market Segment
Hampton by Hilton has been named the #1 lodging franchise for 16 consecutive years and is a pioneer of the upper midscale hotel category. Following extensive consumer research in India, Hampton by Hilton hotel openings in the country will showcase design, service and amenities that are thoughtfully adapted to address the cultural nuances and preferences of the Indian market.
From design and service touchpoints, there will be key adaptations that include optimized room and bathroom layouts, fitness centers in every hotel, and a strong emphasis on rest and sleep which includes high-quality bedding. The Food and Beverage offerings will also be elevated, featuring a regionally inspired breakfast menu, 24/7 coffee station, and Sunny Sides – a first-of-its-kind, full-service concept restaurant serving complimentary breakfast, exclusively designed for Hampton’s India expansion.
