ITC Hotels Expands Gujarat Footprint With 101-Key Welcomhotel in Gandhinagar
The upcoming Welcomhotel Karai Gandhinagar will feature 101 keys, expansive banquet facilities, and strategic connectivity to GIFT City, Ahmedabad Airport, and key commercial hubs.

ITC Hotels Limited has announced the signing of a management agreement for Welcomhotel Karai Gandhinagar, a 101-key upscale property that marks another significant milestone in the company's expansion strategy across Gujarat.
The development further strengthens the Welcomhotel brand's presence in the state while reinforcing ITC Hotels' growing footprint in one of India's most dynamic industrial and investment destinations.
Spread across a nine-acre site in the Karai region of Gandhinagar, the hotel is designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers. The property will feature well-appointed rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a coffee lounge, offering guests a comprehensive hospitality experience.
A key hospitality destination
Positioned as a major venue for the MICE and social events market, the hotel will include more than 10,000 sq. ft. of indoor banquet space alongside 46,000 sq. ft. of landscaped outdoor lawns, making it well suited for destination weddings, large-scale celebrations, corporate meetings, and conferences.

The hotel is being developed in partnership with M/s Shyam Group Hotel and Resort.

Strategically located between Gandhinagar's commercial district and Ahmedabad, the upcoming hotel offers seamless access to Ahmedabad Airport, GIFT City, and several prominent business and sporting destinations. As Karai emerges as a promising hospitality micro-market, the new Welcomhotel is expected to benefit from the region's improving infrastructure and increasing visitor traffic.
