ITC Hotels Expands Mementos Portfolio with a 227-Key Resort in Karjat
ITC Hotels has signed a management agreement for Mementos by ITC Hotels Karjat, a planned luxury resort near Mumbai.

ITC Hotels Limited has signed a management agreement for Mementos by ITC Hotels Karjat, a proposed 227-key luxury resort in Maharashtra. Set against the Sahyadri foothills, the project expands the company’s presence in a leisure market attracting demand for short breaks, wellness retreats, destination weddings and corporate gatherings.
Karjat’s connectivity to Mumbai and Pune, combined with its natural landscape, has strengthened its appeal as an alternative to conventional urban venues for leisure and events. The planned resort will tap into this demand with a mix of accommodation, dining, wellness and large-format event facilities.
Built Around Leisure and Wellness
Mementos Karjat will feature rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurants, a bar and a tea lounge. Planned amenities include a signature spa, fitness centre, swimming pools and recreational activities, alongside dining experiences drawing on regional and international cuisines.
Events will be a key component of the resort’s proposition. Plans include more than 60,000 sq. ft. of indoor event space, with a grand ballroom and meeting venues, alongside over 30,000 sq. ft. of outdoor lawns for weddings and social gatherings. The scale of these facilities positions the project to serve both the destination-wedding market and the corporate meetings and events segment.
