EBG Group has appointed actor Mrunal Thakur as the Brand Ambassador for its wellness-hospitality platform, Carlton Wellness, marking a key step in the group’s plan to build a regulated, premium wellness ecosystem in India.
The partnership, effective FY 2025–26, will see Thakur front Carlton Wellness’s brand films, digital campaigns, experiential initiatives, and flagship property launches across India.
Commenting on the development, Dr. Irfan Khan, Chairman & Founder, EBG Group, said the association reflects the brand’s focus on “conscious luxury and long-term wellbeing,” adding that Thakur’s persona aligns with Carlton’s emphasis on balance, authenticity, and credibility.

Integrated Wellness Platform
Developed under a strategic partnership with EBG Group, Carlton Wellness Group is positioned as an integrated wellness-hospitality platform spanning destination retreats, wellness resorts, city and hotel-based spas, and wellness-led vacation homes and residences.
Its model combines clinical and experiential wellness offerings—including Ayurveda, naturopathy, mindfulness, and hydrotherapy—while adapting global wellness standards to Indian lifestyles, with a focus on preventive care and longevity.
Expansion & Growth
Carlton Wellness currently has multiple spa formats under development, with licensed spa projects live within premium hospitality and real-estate developments. Flagship retreat and resort projects are in advanced stages and are expected to become operational in Ahmedabad, Indore, and Manipal.
The company has confirmed expansion plans across Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Lucknow, Bangalore, and Manipal, with further growth planned in Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and select NCR and metro hubs from 2026.
The roadmap includes 20–30 new wellness spas, 4–6 destination retreats, 2–3 boutique wellness resorts, and 1–2 luxury wellness residential or vacation home projects.
Backed by this expansion pipeline, the EBG–Carlton platform is projecting revenues of ₹80–120 crore in FY 2025–26, scaling to ₹180–250 crore in FY 2026–27. Revenue streams include spa operations and memberships, retreat and resort bookings, licensing and revenue-share models, and managed wellness real-estate assets.
