Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of three seasoned industry professionals to key leadership positions, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on operational excellence, talent development and digital transformation.
Rahul Rana–Director Culinary
Cygnett has appointed Rahul Rana as Director–Culinary, bringing more than 22 years of global hospitality experience to the role. Chef Rana holds an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Studies from Switzerland and has served with leading international hotel groups including Accor, Marriott, Hyatt, InterContinental and Sarova Hotels. His professional journey spans multiple regions such as the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, the Maldives, Indonesia, Kenya and India.
He has also spearheaded the launch of several standalone specialty dining concepts such as Thai Chi (modern Pan-Asian), Peruvian-themed restaurants, and local Kenyan cuisine outlets. Renowned for his expertise in modern culinary techniques and large-format international buffets, Chef Rana is expected to elevate the company’s food & beverage strategy and standards across its portfolio.

Sanjit Kumar Thakur–Corporate Learning & Development Manager
The company has named Sanjit Kumar Thakur as Corporate Learning & Development Manager. With nearly 15 years of hospitality experience, Thakur currently oversees the L&D function at Cygnett and brings a strong blend of operational and strategic capability in workforce development.
A graduate of IHM Kolkata and an MBA in Human Resources Management from IEC University, he has contributed to talent and organizational development initiatives at prominent hospitality brands including Taj, Oberoi, Radisson, Sarovar and Accor. His focus will remain on enhancing employee capability, building leadership pipelines and strengthening service delivery excellence.

Ravvinder Bhola–General Manager (Information Technology)
Cygnett has further fortified its leadership structure with the appointment of Ravvinder Bhola as General Manager – Information Technology. Bhola brings over two decades of experience in hospitality technology, having previously worked with major hotel chains such as Starwood, Taj and Marriott across domestic and international markets.
His expertise encompasses IT operations management, large-scale system deployments and digital transformation. Recognized for building secure, efficient and guest-centric technology ecosystems, he holds strong credentials in cybersecurity, IT governance, risk management and regulatory compliance—capabilities that will support the company’s technology-driven growth agenda.
