Hyatt Place Vadodara has announced the appointment of Kris Reynolds as its General Manager. With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kris’ elevation represents a key leadership milestone and marks his first assignment as General Manager, following a progressive career path within the same property.

Proven Leadership and Strategic Impact
Kris has been associated with Hyatt Place Vadodara for more than four years. He joined the hotel in 2021 as part of the pre-opening team in the role of Director of Sales. His strong performance and strategic leadership led to his promotion to Director of Sales & Marketing in 2022, followed by his appointment as Assistant General Manager in 2023.
In these roles, Kris played a significant role in establishing the market positioning of Vadodara’s first Hyatt hotel. As Assistant General Manager, he contributed to improved team engagement, enhanced operational productivity, and measurable gains in guest satisfaction scores. Currently enrolled in Hyatt’s General Manager Development Program, Kris brings to the role a strong combination of market insight, operational expertise, and a commercially driven leadership approach.
Career Trajectory and Future Vision
Kris began his career with Hyatt in 2010 as a Sales Executive at the Hyatt Area Sales Office. He subsequently held sales leadership roles at Grand Hyatt Goa, where he progressed from Sales Manager to Senior Sales Manager, before moving to Grand Hyatt Mumbai as Senior Sales Manager and later Associate Director of Sales. In 2017, he returned to Grand Hyatt Goa as Director of Sales, followed by assignments at Park Hyatt Chennai in 2020 and Hyatt Place Vadodara from 2021. His professional experience also includes tenures with brands such as The Westin Hyderabad and Ramada Powai.
Commenting on his appointment, Kris Reynolds stated that the hotel represents a professional home for him and expressed his commitment to leading the team with a focus on agility, empathy, and innovation. In his new role, he will focus on driving the next phase of revenue growth, strengthening operational excellence, and further enhancing the guest experience at Hyatt Place Vadodara.
