Professional Background
Bagwan brings over three decades of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry across India and the Middle East. His career includes leadership roles with globally renowned hotel groups such as Taj Hotels, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Group, Radisson Hotels & Resorts, and Oakwood Worldwide Inc.
He has successfully led the pre-opening and launch of multiple award-winning properties in Dubai, UAE. Bagwan previously headed Oakwood Bangalore, the property now transformed into Marriott Executive Apartments Bengaluru UB City, making his return particularly significant.
A graduate of the prestigious General Manager’s Program at Cornell University, Bagwan has also contributed to the wider hospitality industry. He has served as a team leader and assessor for the Dubai Quality Award and the Dubai Human Development Award in collaboration with the Government of Dubai’s Department of Economic Development.
