Renaissance Goa has appointed Roopa Singh as General Manager, bringing seasoned leadership to one of North Goa’s most anticipated hospitality developments. Her appointment represents a notable woman-led milestone within Goa’s evolving hospitality sector and underscores the brand’s focus on strategic leadership, design-led experiences, and strong market positioning.
Singh brings close to 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a career spanning senior leadership roles across globally recognised brands including IHG Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. She joined Marriott International seven years ago, where her brand-focused and guest-centric approach has consistently supported operational excellence and business growth. This depth of experience positions her well to lead the Renaissance brand’s entry into the Goan market.

A Proven Hospitality Leader with Operational Focus
Prior to assuming her current role, Singh served as Director of Operations at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa. In this capacity, she was responsible for end-to-end hotel operations, financial performance, and strategic planning for the award-winning luxury resort. Her tenure was marked by the introduction of innovative food and beverage concepts, the implementation of operational efficiencies, and improved productivity and profitability. These initiatives contributed to enhanced guest satisfaction and multiple industry recognitions, providing a strong foundation for her transition into a General Manager role.
Singh’s leadership philosophy is anchored in collaboration, team empowerment, and continuous development. With experience across diverse hotel formats and market conditions, she is known for fostering high-performing teams and delivering solutions that balance operational rigor with long-term organisational objectives. Her approach reflects a strong belief that engaged and empowered teams are central to creating differentiated and memorable guest experiences.
