The Westin Resort & Spa Himalayas has announced the appointment of Yogesh Arya as Director of Finance. With over 13 years of experience across leading hospitality brands including Marriott, Hyatt, Accor, IHG, and RDH Hotels, Arya brings a proven record of financial leadership and operational excellence to his new role.
Before joining The Westin Himalayas, Arya served as Assistant Director of Finance at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon, where he led the finance team and significantly contributed to the property’s overall financial performance. His earlier tenures with Marriott and IHG, where he managed cluster finance operations, further strengthened his expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and control systems—enhancing efficiency and alignment across business units.
Role and Responsibilities
In his new position, Arya will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s financial strategy, compliance, and performance management, ensuring alignment with Marriott International’s global standards and the property’s long-term business objectives. His focus areas will include streamlining financial processes, enhancing governance frameworks, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration within the finance team.
