voco Amritsar, a pre-opening five-star upscale hotel scheduled to launch shortly in the city of Amritsar, has announced the appointment of Manish Kumar Yadav as its General Manager.
Yadav brings over 17 years of leadership experience across luxury, upscale, and mid-scale hospitality brands. In his new capacity, he will oversee the hotel’s pre-opening phase and be responsible for establishing operational structures, directing commercial strategy, and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Prior to joining voco Amritsar, Yadav served as Multi-Property General Manager for DoubleTree by Hilton and Wyndham Chandigarh, where he was instrumental in driving operational performance, strengthening guest experience, and reinforcing brand standards. His achievements in the industry have been recognized with two National Best General Manager Awards.
Yadav is widely acknowledged for his expertise in building robust operational frameworks, enhancing guest experience systems, and cultivating high-performance organizational cultures. His strong financial acumen and significant pre-opening experience are expected to contribute to positioning voco Amritsar as a leading premium IHG hotel within the region.
