In a strategic push towards Eastern India, Sarovar Hotels has inked a deal to bring its Golden Tulip brand to Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. The new 121-key property, developed in collaboration with SP Kunwars Hotel Pvt Ltd, is slated to open its doors in 2027.
Nestled near the Himalayan foothills, Jalpaiguri serves as a key transit hub for travellers heading to North Bengal and the Northeast. The upcoming Golden Tulip aims to capitalise on the region’s rising appeal among business and leisure travellers alike.
The property is expected to feature contemporary amenities, versatile meeting spaces, and a focus on local experiences — in line with Sarovar’s broader strategy of tailoring offerings to suit both modern business needs and cultural context.
