Welcom Heritage has announced the opening of Welcom Heritage Arka Resort & Spa, Rishikesh, a serene hillside retreat overlooking the Shivalik range. Spread across 3.5 acres at 4,300 feet, the resort is located at Patti Talla in Village Kund Silogi on Lansdowne Road, offering views of blue-hued mountains, natural ponds (“kunds”), and the point where the Ganges enters the plains. The 30-km approach from Tapovan winds through Rajaji National Park, home to endemic birdlife, deer, and leopards.
Inspired by the five elements, Arka blends contemporary comforts with Himalayan calm. The resort houses 25 chalets across four categories—Deluxe, Family, Premium, and a Luxury Chalet with a private pool. Tudor-style architecture, pine log ceilings, large windows, and minimalist décor add refined rustic character. All chalets feature modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, air-conditioning/heating, a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee maker, mini bar, and electronic safe.

Arka provides multiple event venues, including a central lawn for up to 50 guests, a poolside venue for 80 guests, and a larger lawn accommodating up to 400 guests. These spaces cater to intimate celebrations, boutique events, and corporate offsites.
