Hilton Introduces Iconic Luxury Brand Waldorf Astoria to Goa

Hilton has announced the signing of Waldorf Astoria Goa, marking the arrival of one of the world’s most iconic luxury hospitality brands on India’s western coastline.
The signing represents Hilton’s third Waldorf Astoria property in India, following Waldorf Astoria Jaipur and Waldorf Astoria New Delhi. The addition reinforces Hilton’s long-term strategy to scale its luxury portfolio across key urban and leisure markets, while underscoring sustained investor confidence in India’s high-end hospitality segment.
With this development, Hilton’s operating and pipeline presence in Goa expands to four hotels, reflecting the destination’s enduring appeal among domestic and international travellers and growing demand for premium leisure-led experiences.
Scheduled to open in 2030, Waldorf Astoria Goa is being developed by West Coast Hotels Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between the V.S. Dempo Group—one of Goa’s oldest and most established business families—and Triton Hotels & Resorts Private Limited, a luxury hospitality developer with a strong track record across marquee Indian destinations.

Location and Design Vision
Set across a 20-acre waterfront site in South Goa, the hotel will offer uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea. The coastal setting, defined by natural landscapes and open horizons, is intended to complement Waldorf Astoria’s philosophy of timeless elegance, strong sense of place and highly personalized service.
The resort will feature 148 rooms, suites and villas designed to balance refined luxury with a relaxed coastal sensibility. True to the brand’s heritage as a social and cultural hub, the property will include the signature Peacock Alley, multiple curated dining venues, a specialty beachfront restaurant and a rooftop bar.
The hotel will also offer approximately 10,800 square feet of event and meeting space, comprehensive wellness facilities including a luxury spa, fitness centre and swimming pools, positioning it as a premier venue for destination weddings, private celebrations and bespoke gatherings.
