Expansion in a High-Potential Market

Prayagraj holds significance as one of Uttar Pradesh's key pilgrimage and cultural destinations. Beyond its religious tourism appeal, the city is also an administrative and economic centre, with activity across engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, logistics and FMCG sectors.

Ginger Prayagraj will feature 100 rooms designed around the brand's Lean Luxe philosophy. The facilities will include Qmin, Ginger's signature all-day dining restaurant, a bar, modern meeting facilities and a fitness centre.

The hotel's location is expected to provide access to the city's commercial, industrial and cultural hubs, positioning it to serve both business and leisure demand.

Shivam Chauhan, Managing Director, The Jagmal Group, said, “We are pleased to partner with IHCL to bring the Ginger brand to Prayagraj, and look forward to developing a contemporary hotel that will cater to the evolving needs of travellers visiting the region.”

Strengthening UP Presence

With this signing, IHCL's portfolio in Uttar Pradesh will comprise 64 hotels, of which 27 are under development. The addition reflects the company's continued focus on expanding its presence across markets supported by a combination of pilgrimage, tourism and business travel demand.

For Prayagraj, the proposed Ginger hotel adds to the city's organised hospitality inventory as its tourism and commercial profile continues to evolve.
