In a move that blends strategic expansion with cultural sensitivity, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced its entry into the temple town of Nathdwara, Rajasthan, with the signing of a Gateway-branded hotel.
The 101-key Gateway Nathdwara is set to rise on a 6-acre expanse nestled in the Aravalli Hills, offering guests a tranquil yet vibrant escape in a town revered for its devotion to Lord Krishna. With this move, IHCL is not just eyeing prime real estate, but also tapping into the growing trend of spiritual and cultural tourism.
The Gateway Nathdwara promises a holistic experience. Guests can look forward to curated culinary journeys at both an all-day diner and a specialty restaurant. The hotel will also house extensive banqueting spaces—including over 8,000 sq. ft. of indoor event space and an expansive 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor lawn—poised to cater to spiritual gatherings, weddings, and retreats. A swimming pool and fitness centre round out the experience, offering rejuvenation in both body and spirit.
