IHCL Enters Dirang with 70-Key Gateway Greenfield Project
A new 70-key Gateway hotel in Arunachal Pradesh’s scenic Dirang aims to boost tourism and sustainable development in the region.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of Gateway Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh. The project will be developed as a greenfield property, marking IHCL’s continued expansion into emerging tourism destinations.
The upcoming 70-key Gateway Dirang will offer a range of hospitality and business facilities, including luxury amenities. Guests will also have access to recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre, and spa.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, highlighted the region’s rising potential: “Supported by its natural landscape and improving accessibility, Dirang is witnessing growing demand from both leisure travellers and adventure enthusiasts. Located in the West Kameng district, Dirang is known for its picturesque landscape of apple orchards, terraced farms, and pine-covered hills. The town is also famous for its natural hot water springs, a key attraction for travellers exploring the region.
