IHCL Expands Heritage Portfolio with Tree of Life Signing in Chettinad
Brownfield Conversion to Bring a Restored Chettiar Mansion into India's Growing Heritage Hospitality Landscape

IHCL has announced the signing of Tree of Life Kanadukathan in Chettinad, Tamil Nadu, marking another step in the group's expansion of experiential and heritage-led hospitality offerings. The project will see the restoration and adaptive reuse of an existing Chettiar heritage property under the Tree of Life brand.

Located in Kanadukathan, the 20-key boutique retreat has been designed to preserve the region's distinctive architectural identity while offering contemporary hospitality experiences. The property will feature an all-day dining restaurant, lounge, swimming pool, spa and fitness centre. The project is being developed in partnership with the AMPA Group.
