The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), operator of the Taj brand of hotels and India’s largest hospitality group, partners with Omaxe to introduce a Gateway branded hotel at The Omaxe State, Dwarka – India’s first integrated sports, retail, hospitality, food, and cultural destination.

At the core of the collaboration is a 158-key luxury hotel, featuring 40 stadium-view suites built inside an international cricket-cum-football stadium – the first of its kind in India, offering guests an immersive match-day experience. An additional 108 luxury rooms within the adjoining premium club building will cater to Delhi’s business and leisure elite.

Integrated Sports and Hospitality Hub

Spanning 50.4 acres under a PPP model with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), The Omaxe State is envisioned as a lifestyle ecosystem across five districts – Sports, Hospitality, Food, Social, and Shopping. Anchored by an ICC and FIFA-standard 30,000-seater stadium, the project combines sports, retail, leisure, and entertainment in a single destination.

Alongside the Gateway Hotel, IHCL will also operate a 250,000 sq. ft. members-only club, one of India’s largest. Inspired by leading international benchmarks such as The Bay Club in Mumbai, Accor Arena in Paris, and exclusive clubs in London and Dubai, the facility will house signature restaurants, lounges, a spa and wellness centre, Olympic-standard swimming pools, indoor and outdoor sports arenas, and world-class event and banqueting spaces.

Its location adjacent to Bharat Vandana Park and Asia’s largest convention centre, Yashobhoomi, positions the development as a prime venue for global conferences, exhibitions, and sporting events.

Redefining Delhi’s Leisure Landscape

“The Omaxe State is not just a project; it is Delhi’s most ambitious destination. By partnering with IHCL, we are setting new benchmarks for hospitality, sports, and urban entertainment. From stadium-view suites to exclusive club privileges, this collaboration will redefine the capital’s lifestyle and leisure landscape,” said Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe.

Scheduled for completion by 2027, The Omaxe State is projected to generate revenues of Rs 4,200 crore over its lifecycle while creating extensive direct and indirect employment across hospitality, retail, sports, and allied services. With a catchment population of 30 lakh within a 10 km radius and footfall potential comparable to Dubai Mall and London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the project is poised to emerge as a landmark destination for Delhi NCR.
