IHCL Signs Vivanta Hotel at Bhogapuram Airport, Expands East Coast Presence

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Vivanta-branded hotel at the upcoming Bhogapuram International Airport in Andhra Pradesh. The project will be developed as a greenfield venture, reinforcing IHCL’s strategic expansion in high-growth infrastructure corridors across India.
Bhogapuram International Airport, located in Vizianagaram district, is poised to emerge as a key aviation hub in North Andhra. The development is expected to catalyze economic activity along the Visakhapatnam–Bheemili–Bhogapuram corridor, supported by robust infrastructure investments and government-led tourism initiatives.

Strategically located adjacent to the terminal building, the 165-key Vivanta Bhogapuram International Airport will offer convenient access for travellers. The hotel will feature Mynt, an all-day dining restaurant, Wink, a bar and Swirl, a deli. Guests can also enjoy a swimming pool and a fully equipped gym, complemented by a banqueting space spanning over 4,000 sq. ft., catering to both business and social events.
The upcoming airport is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting tourism and business activity along India’s East Coast. IHCL’s entry into this micro-market aligns with the anticipated surge in demand for quality hospitality infrastructure, particularly catering to business, events, and transit segments.
