United Hospitality Management (UHM), a global luxury and mixed-use hospitality operator, has entered the Indian market through the acquisition of boutique hospitality brand Rosastays. The move marks a significant milestone in UHM’s international expansion and signals a long-term commitment to one of the world’s fastest-growing travel and tourism markets.
The acquisition adds 17 operational Rosastays properties to UHM’s portfolio, spanning key leisure destinations including Goa, Kasauli, Nainital, Pushkar, and Shimla. Backed by Rosastays’ strong owner network and loyal experiential traveler base, UHM plans to begin rebranding select properties between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.
UHM enters India with a development pipeline exceeding 700 keys, including upcoming projects in partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts under the Garner brand. The platform positions UHM to scale rapidly across boutique, midscale, and luxury segments while delivering owner-centric, globally benchmarked hospitality management across South Asia.
Leadership Anchors Local Strategy
Klaus Assmann, COO – Middle East, India & Southeast Asia, described India as one of the most dynamic hospitality markets globally, underscoring UHM’s expansion as a long-term investment driven by scale, quality, and innovation.
UHM’s India strategy will be led by Deepika Arora, Managing Director – India, a seasoned hospitality leader with over two decades of experience across leading global brands. Her expertise in operations, asset strategy, and brand building will be central to shaping UHM’s differentiated presence in the country.
Deepika Arora noted that India’s travel evolution—rooted in authenticity, design, and elevated experiences—aligns closely with UHM’s owner-first philosophy and global operating systems. India is expected to play a pivotal role in UHM’s broader growth journey.
A Holistic Lifestyle Operator
Beyond hotels, UHM operates more than 60 dining venues and a suite of wellness brands, including Serenity – The Art of Wellbeing, Pure by Serenity, and Active by Serenity, across Europe and the Middle East. Its “glocal” approach—blending global best practices with local insight—has made UHM a trusted partner to leading brands such as Marriott, Accor, Wyndham, Hyatt, Yotel, and IHG.
