Encalm Hospitality enters aviation catering with the launch of ‘Encalm Skyplates’

Encalm Hospitality has announced its foray into the aviation catering segment with the launch of Encalm Skyplates, marking a strategic expansion beyond airport lounges and traveller services into the broader in-flight hospitality ecosystem.
The newly launched platform has been positioned as a dedicated aviation catering business that will provide food production, logistics management and in-flight catering solutions across key aviation hubs. The company stated that Encalm Skyplates will leverage large-scale production capabilities, technology-enabled operations and stringent food safety systems to cater to both domestic and international airline requirements.

Seamless Passenger Experience
Commenting on the launch, Vikas Sharma, Group Chief Executive Officer, Encalm Hospitality, said the initiative aims to extend the company’s hospitality standards from airport terminals to onboard experiences.
“With Encalm Skyplates, we are redefining the boundaries of airport hospitality by taking our signature excellence from the lounge to the aircraft cabin,” Sharma said.
He further noted that in-flight catering demands operational precision alongside service excellence. “Our goal is to bridge the gap between ground and air, ensuring that the premium experience a traveler starts with at the terminal continues seamlessly at 30,000 feet. Skyplates isn't just about dining; it’s about elevating the entire passenger journey through consistent, world-class service,” he added.

Operations and Sustainability at the Core
According to the company, Encalm Skyplates will focus on curated culinary offerings, integrated operational logistics and aircraft-side delivery services designed to support airline efficiency and passenger satisfaction.
The platform will also incorporate sustainability-driven initiatives, including responsible sourcing practices, waste reduction measures and energy-efficient infrastructure as part of its aviation catering operations.
