IHCL Signs Landmark Taj Hotel in Visakhapatnam
Taj Varun Beach, Visakhapatnam, located within the Varun Bay Sands complex, is designed to cater to both leisure and business travellers, featuring expansive banqueting spaces and state-of-the-art meeting facilities.

IHCL has announced the signing of a greenfield project in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to be branded as a Taj hotel. This marks the Taj brand’s debut in the rapidly growing coastal city, expanding IHCL’s presence in key leisure and commercial markets.

Taj Varun Beach – Features and Offerings
Taj Varun Beach, located within the Varun Bay Sands complex, will feature 310 rooms and suites with panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal. The hotel will offer an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurants, a bar, a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, and Taj’s signature J Wellness Circle spa. Designed for both leisure and business travellers, it will also include expansive banqueting spaces and state-of-the-art meeting facilities.
Varun Bay Sands Development
The multi-use Varun Bay Sands development comprises Varun Hub, a commercial office space, and Varun Nest, serviced apartments, creating a vibrant mixed-use destination.
