Marriott International has entered into a global agreement with The Coca-Cola Company, naming the beverage major its partner across several categories and expanding its products across Marriott’s worldwide hotel portfolio.

Under the agreement, Coca-Cola will supply carbonated soft drinks alongside a growing range of hydration and functional beverages. The phased rollout has begun and will extend across Marriott properties globally over the coming months.

Leveraging Global Scale

Coca-Cola brands will be available across guestrooms, restaurants and lounges, as well as meetings and events, broadening beverage choice across different stages of the guest stay.

Marriott said the partnership is aimed at responding to guest preferences while creating procurement efficiencies and economic benefits for hotel owners and franchise operators across its system.

“This agreement brings together two iconic brands with a shared commitment to quality, consistency, and creating memorable experiences,” said Anthony Capuano, President and Chief Executive Officer, Marriott International. He added that the collaboration would help Marriott offer familiar products while generating value for owners and operators.

Henrique Braun, CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, said the partnership would give travellers greater access to the company’s portfolio, spanning sparkling beverages, juices, hydration and dairy products throughout their stay.

The agreement was developed in collaboration with Hot Shoppe Services International, Marriott’s global procurement organisation, leveraging Marriott’s scale and supplier network to drive value across its global system.
