Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad Taps Long-Stay Boom With Festive Package
Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad launches ‘Festive Package’ to meet long-stay demand.

Winter travel trends across India indicate a decisive move toward “slow travel,” with travellers prioritising longer, experience-driven stays over short-duration trips. Hyderabad has emerged as a key beneficiary of this shift, particularly among families and urban residents seeking extended festive breaks that combine leisure with residential comfort.
Industry data underscores this evolving behaviour. December 2025 figures point to a 34% increase in early winter bookings, driven by travellers opting for stays ranging from six to twelve days. This marks a departure from traditional weekend travel patterns and reflects a broader preference for immersive, relaxed travel experiences.
Property-Centric Travel Behaviour
Further reinforcing this trend, Booking.com’s How India Travels 2025 report reveals a growing “property-first” mindset among Indian travellers. Nearly 80% of respondents indicated plans to spend the majority of their trip within their accommodation—significantly higher than the global average. This behavioural shift has created new opportunities for serviced residences and long-stay hospitality formats.
In response to rising long-stay and staycation demand, Marriott Executive Apartments (MEA) Hyderabad has announced the launch of its Festive Retreat Package. Available from December 15, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the offering is designed to cater to guests seeking an extended festive escape with the comforts of a residential-style stay. The package combines seasonal celebrations with premium amenities tailored for longer visits. Key inclusions feature daily buffet breakfasts, poolside dinner buffets, complimentary cocktails, and substantial discounts on spa services, positioning the property as a comprehensive festive retreat within the city.

Commenting on the launch, Ashwin Vaidya, General Manager, Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad, noted a fundamental shift in year-end travel behaviour. He highlighted Hyderabad’s favourable winter climate and the growing appeal of in-city retreats for both residents and extended-stay travellers. The package has been structured to encourage relaxation and convenience, offering inclusive dining experiences, curated beverage selections, and a 50% discount on spa treatments.
In addition to the staycation-focused package, the property will host curated festive dining events throughout the holiday season. These events are designed to attract both in-house guests and local patrons seeking a premium celebratory dining experience, further strengthening the property’s positioning as a festive hospitality destination in Hyderabad.
