Accor has announced the appointment of Amit Malik as Vice President – People & Culture for South Asia. In this role, he will join the South Asia leadership team and lead the People, Talent, and Culture agenda across India and the wider region.
Malik will work closely with business leaders to strengthen organisational capabilities, advance leadership excellence, and enhance employee experience across Accor’s growing portfolio in South Asia. His mandate includes building a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Professional Experience
With over two decades of experience, Malik brings a strong combination of human resources expertise and business leadership. His background spans organisational transformation, talent strategy, and cross-industry operations, supported by significant global exposure.
He is widely recognised for his work in culture building, leadership development, and driving large-scale organisational transformation. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with boards and senior stakeholders on governance, strategic decision-making, and organisational effectiveness initiatives.
Prior to Accor, Malik was President – JAPA at WadzPay and held senior roles at Aviva Life Insurance India, including CEO & MD. He has also held leadership positions at Bank of America, Royal Bank of Scotland, American Express, and GSK Consumer Healthcare.
Accor expects Malik’s leadership to play a key role in shaping a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture, supporting the company’s continued expansion and talent evolution across South Asia.
