ibis Coimbatore City Centre gets new General Manager, appoints Mahi Teja

Ibis has appointed Mahi Teja as General Manager of ibis Coimbatore City Centre.
With nearly 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Teja joins the property after building a well-rounded career across sales, commercial functions, rooms, and hotel operations with leading hospitality brands, including Accor and Hyatt Hotels.
Driving the next phase of growth
As General Manager, Teja will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of ibis Coimbatore City Centre. His mandate includes strengthening service excellence, improving team performance, and accelerating business growth while reinforcing the hotel's position in the market.

Teja began his hospitality journey in sales before expanding his expertise across commercial strategy, revenue growth, and hotel operations. Throughout his career within the Accor network, he has held diverse roles across multiple brands and properties, gaining extensive exposure to both business development and operational excellence.
His cross-functional experience has shaped a leadership style focused on driving business performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
Teja has consistently invested in professional development through Accor Academy's leadership programmes. He completed the International Emerging Leaders Programme (IELP) in 2020, the General Leadership Programme (GLP) in 2023, and the MEA APAC Master's Programme – General Manager in Making in 2025.
These milestones underscore his commitment to continuous learning and leadership readiness as he takes on broader responsibilities within the Accor ecosystem.
