The St. Regis Goa Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Arun Vishnu as General Manager. With over two decades of leadership experience in the ultra-luxury hospitality sector, Arun brings a strong track record of operational excellence, strategic growth, and guest-centric innovation.

 

Arun joined the resort following his tenure at The Ritz-Carlton Pune, where he successfully led the property and supported the organization through a critical transition phase. Prior to this, he served as General Manager within the Accor Hotels portfolio, overseeing an award-winning MGallery property in Karon, Phuket, Thailand.

Professional Background

Over the course of his career, Arun has held leadership roles across globally recognized brands, including Westin, The Ritz-Carlton, Park Hyatt, and JW Marriott Marquis. His international experience spans key markets such as India, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, the Maldives, and Thailand.

 

Arun holds an MBA in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration. His core expertise includes managing large-scale hospitality operations, optimizing performance metrics, and leading flagship luxury assets.

  • As Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, Arun led the property to achieve among the highest guest satisfaction scores within the brand portfolio.
  • At MGallery Phuket, he delivered significant growth in Revenue Generation Index (RGI) and secured multiple recognitions at the World Luxury Hotel Awards.
  • Played a pivotal role in the successful launch of The Westin Desaru Coast Resort.
  • Provided task force leadership for the opening of JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa.
