Ventive Hospitality Brings Global Design Leadership to Drive Growth
Percy P. Muncherji joins Ventive Hospitality with over three decades of experience across hospitality design, development and technical services.

Ventive Hospitality Limited has appointed Percy P. Muncherji as Head–Design & Development, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand and enhance its hospitality portfolio across India and international markets.
In his new role, Muncherji will lead design and development across Ventive Hospitality’s portfolio, overseeing new projects, renovations and existing assets. His mandate will span design direction, development strategy, technical oversight, consultant and operator engagement, and project delivery—from concept through completion.
Strengthening Design & Development Leadership
Muncherji brings more than three decades of experience across hospitality design, development and technical services, with expertise spanning creative, technical, operational and commercial aspects of project delivery.
Before joining Ventive Hospitality, he served as Vice President – Design & Technical Services at Centara Hotels & Resorts, where he led the group’s Design and Technical Services function across multiple brands and international markets.
He previously spent over 16 years with Oakwood Asia Pacific in Singapore, eventually serving as Vice President–Technical Services. During his tenure, he contributed to the development and delivery of 36 properties comprising approximately 5,200 units, while also serving on the boards of Oakwood entities in Japan, China and Indonesia.
Earlier in his career, Muncherji held a senior role with The Ascott Limited, working across project design and development, technical services and property delivery in Asia.
Commenting on the appointment, Atul Chordia, Chairman and Executive Director, Ventive Hospitality Limited, said the role would be important as design and development become increasingly central to creating distinctive, high-quality hospitality assets. “Percy brings extensive industry experience and a strong international perspective, and we look forward to his contribution in shaping the next phase of Ventive’s growth.”
Ranjit Batra, CEO, Ventive Hospitality Ltd, added that Muncherji’s combination of design leadership, development expertise and owner-operator perspective would support the company’s continued portfolio growth. “Percy brings a distinctive combination of design leadership, development expertise and an understanding of hospitality from both an owner and operator perspective.”
Muncherji said the opportunity to influence projects “holistically” was a key attraction. He added that creating hospitality destinations with a strong sense of identity, relevance and experience would remain central to his approach at Ventive. “Great hospitality is ultimately about creating places with a strong sense of identity, relevance and experience,” he said.
