Maldives-born luxury wellness brand ELE|NA (Elements of Nature) is expanding its India footprint through a strategic partnership with Ananta Hotels & Resorts, beginning with a new wellness sanctuary at Ananta Spa & Resort, Ajabgarh.
Operating under the ELE|NA Ayur identity, the Ajabgarh sanctuary is the first under a wider partnership between the two hospitality brands, with additional properties expected to follow.
Within driving distance of Delhi and Jaipur, the retreat brings together ELE|NA’s nature-led wellness philosophy with Ananta’s resort setting across the Aravalli foothills.
Wellness Becomes the Destination
The two-storey sanctuary features nine treatment rooms, a hydrothermal circuit, meditation hall, movement pavilion and salon. Its wellness programme extends beyond conventional spa treatments across massage and bodywork, skin health, movement, breathwork, sound and water therapies, sleep and conscious nutrition.
Signature experiences draw from both the natural elements and the destination—from Desert Glow ubtan rituals and camel milk wraps to forest bathing, nature walks, moon meditation and sound healing. A four-week Elemental Vitality calendar will structure experiences around Earth, Water, Fire and Air, incorporating activities such as pottery, kintsugi, stargazing, sound healing and tree planting.
Dedicated spaces further expand the proposition, including a SleepSync Room for sound baths and guided rest, a contrast therapy suite with ice baths and warm jacuzzis, a sound-healing hall and HydroTherm dry-flotation massage.
Rather than operating wellness as a standalone hotel amenity, ELE|NA will manage the sanctuary end-to-end—from treatment development and programming to training, operations and daily guest experiences.

A Wider Partnership
“Few settings give you as much to work with as Ajabgarh: the forest, the hills, the dark skies,” said Heidi Grimwood, Senior Vice President, ELE|NA, adding that the ambition is to create a sanctuary guests will specifically travel for.
Mukund Goyal, Chairman, Ananta Hotels & Resorts, said Ajabgarh is the first of several properties the two companies expect to develop together.
The partnership comes as wellness increasingly moves from a supporting resort amenity to a more integral part of hospitality programming and the overall guest journey.
For ELE|NA, Ajabgarh represents not simply another spa opening, but a platform for expanding its wellness-management model across India.
As hotels deepen their focus on wellness-led travel, the ELE|NA–Ananta partnership reflects a broader shift: from adding a spa to building hospitality experiences where wellness itself becomes a reason to travel.
