Hilton has brought its ultra-luxury LXR Hotels & Resorts brand to India for the first time with The Den, Bengaluru, a property set in the heart of Whitefield, the city's tech and business district. The opening is part of a wider luxury push for Hilton in 2026, which also includes new LXR, Conrad, and Waldorf Astoria properties across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Whitefield carries a layered past, and The Den is positioned as deeply connected to a neighbourhood where history and innovation meet. Once defined by its bungalows and garden clubs, the area has grown into one of Bengaluru's busiest commercial corridors, home to tech parks, malls, and a fast-expanding hospitality scene. The hotel sits surrounded by tech parks, luxury malls, and cultural landmarks, with Hilton positioning the property as a blend of innovation, sustainability, and authenticity for the modern traveller.
Design at The Den leans into restraint rather than spectacle. The layered design is built through intelligent spaces, curated cuisine, and wellness-focused amenities meant to make a stay feel personal rather than performative. Dining at the property spans multiple distinct settings, from globally inspired plates served by tranquil water to rooftop fare that mixes spice with sun, alongside a lounge built around cocktails and conversation.
The launch comes as Hilton accelerates its India strategy. Alan Watts, President - Asia Pacific at Hilton, has said the company plans to grow its India portfolio tenfold over the next decade through strategic licensing partnerships. The Den arrives alongside other Whitefield openings in Hilton's pipeline, including a Curio Collection property inspired by Karnataka's coffee estates, signalling Bengaluru's growing weight in the brand's luxury and lifestyle ambitions for the region.
For Bengaluru, The Den adds a new register to its luxury map: contemporary, business-forward, and rooted in the city's own evolution.
