Hilton has strengthened its India growth strategy with the launch of Slohh by Roach in Bengaluru, marking the country’s first Curio Collection by Hilton property and the hospitality giant’s debut in India's lifestyle hotel segment.
Developed in partnership with Bengaluru-based boutique real estate company Roach Lifescapes, the 221-key hotel is strategically located in Whitefield—one of Bengaluru's leading business and technology districts. The opening reflects Hilton’s growing focus on experiential hospitality, where design, local culture and community engagement are central to the guest experience.
A Contemporary Tribute to Malnad Heritage
As part of Curio Collection by Hilton—a global portfolio of individually distinctive hotels—Slohh by Roach embraces a design philosophy deeply rooted in Karnataka's Malnad region and its celebrated coffee estates.
The hotel offers 221 guestrooms and suites across seven accommodation categories, many featuring private balconies overlooking Varthur Lake and Bengaluru's skyline.
Premium suites, including the signature Malnad Presidential Suite, feature spacious living and dining areas inspired by plantation residences, offering an elevated stay experience for business and leisure travellers alike.
Designed to cater to Bengaluru's thriving corporate ecosystem, Slohh by Roach offers extensive meetings and events infrastructure.
Its flagship venue, The Banyan, is a 5,000 sq. ft. pillarless ballroom accommodating up to 600 guests, supported by a 3,000 sq. ft. pre-function space, multiple meeting rooms, a dedicated boardroom, bridal suite and beauty salon, making it well suited for conferences, corporate gatherings and destination weddings. The wellness offering includes a temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre, a traditional hammam and a full-service spa, reinforcing the property's positioning as a holistic lifestyle destination.
Food and beverage form a central pillar of the hotel's identity. Its all-day dining restaurant, Nana’s, showcases recipes inspired by family traditions, seasonal produce and the culinary heritage of Karnataka and the Malnad region. The menu is complemented by comforting favourites from across India alongside international classics. Guests also have access to an Executive Club Lounge, designed to serve both resident and non-resident patrons with premium dining and social experiences.
Beyond accommodation, Slohh by Roach aims to create immersive cultural experiences that distinguish it within Bengaluru’s competitive hospitality landscape.

A Strategic Milestone for Hilton in India
The opening of Slohh by Roach represents more than the launch of a new hotel—it marks Hilton's entry into India’s rapidly evolving lifestyle hospitality segment. By combining global brand standards with authentic regional storytelling, design-led experiences and community-driven programming, the property reflects a broader shift in luxury travel towards immersive, culturally connected stays.
With Bengaluru continuing to attract business travellers, entrepreneurs and affluent leisure guests, Hilton's first Curio Collection property is well positioned to capitalise on growing demand for distinctive lifestyle hotels that offer both international sophistication and a strong sense of place.
