Vojara Reimagines the Ranthambore Safari Experience

Vojara, a new 10-suite safari-style lodge set to open in October 2026 in Ranthambore, will bring a more personalised approach to luxury wildlife hospitality.
Founded by wildlife photographer, author and entrepreneur Arjun Anand, the property is designed around bespoke safari and photographic experiences, intuitive service and a deeper engagement with the destination.
“I wanted to create a place that inspires remarkable adventures, unforgettable connections and moments of quiet retreat, while giving guests the freedom to experience Ranthambore at their own pace,” said Anand.
Hospitality With a Sense of Place
Spread across four acres near Bhadlao Village, Vojara has been developed over three years with a focus on responsible land use. A previously vacant site has been transformed through afforestation, rainwater harvesting and ecological restoration. More than 100 trees, shrubs and plants now form a functioning micro-ecosystem, supported by a water body and monsoon rainwater replenishment.
The lodge comprises 10 expansive suites and a series of shared spaces, including a main lounge, bar, courtyard, open-air terrace, dining hall, spa and swimming pool. The Boma provides an outdoor setting for bonfires and live cooking, while The Outpost houses a gallery and dedicated facilities for photography support and interactive sessions.
Handcrafted interiors, natural materials and considered landscaping are intended to create a seamless connection between the built environment and the surrounding wilderness. The emphasis is on understated design, personalised service and an unhurried guest experience.

From Photography to Hospitality
Vojara represents the next phase of Anand’s work in wildlife and photography, translating years of field experience, travel and storytelling into a hospitality platform. Photographic safaris, interactive sessions and tailored guidance are central to the offering, with the aim of giving guests a more intimate understanding of Ranthambore.
The property also reflects Anand’s personal influences, including his family, travels, interest in art and longstanding interactions with photographers, artists and wildlife enthusiasts. Ultimately, Vojara seeks to combine luxury accommodation with knowledge-led wildlife experiences—and create a space where conservation, photography and hospitality intersect.
