As demand for premium second homes expands beyond traditional urban and coastal markets, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) has launched The Ridge, a luxury villa development in Mashobra, near Shimla.
Spread across 11.5 acres at approximately 7,000 feet, the project comprises three- and four-bedroom villas priced from ₹9.5 crore. Set amid Deodar forests, the development is positioned around privacy, mountain views and extended-stay living rather than conventional holiday-home ownership.

Wellness and Managed Living
The project’s proposition extends beyond residential real estate, combining ownership with wellness and hospitality services. Its 25,000-plus sq. ft. clubhouse includes a heated indoor pool, fitness centre, restaurant and wellness spaces. A partnership with Evavo Wellness brings specialised recovery therapies, including cryotherapy, red-light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen.
Everly Hotels & Resorts will oversee villa management, private dining and curated experiences, offering owners access to managed services while supporting the property’s positioning as a premium mountain retreat.
Engineering for the Himalayan Terrain
The development incorporates IIT Roorkee-led planning, micropile foundations and computational modelling to address the site’s topography and geology. These measures form part of the project’s approach to building in a mountainous environment.
Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman, House of Abhinandan Lodha, said the project reflects the company’s focus on residences that combine elevated living standards with nature, wellbeing and multigenerational ownership.
Located approximately 10 km from Shimla, Mashobra offers access to the region’s natural landscape while retaining relative seclusion. For HoABL, The Ridge adds a wellness-led mountain proposition to the luxury second-home segment, where residential ownership increasingly intersects with hospitality and lifestyle services.
