IHCL Adds 1,000 Keys with Seven New Ginger Hotel Signings
IHCL expands Ginger Portfolio with seven new hotels, 1,000 keys added.

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a framework agreement for the development of seven new Ginger hotels, marking a significant expansion of the brand across key cities in North India.
Commenting on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said that, “India’s midscale hospitality segment continues to see robust demand, driven by sustained economic growth across manufacturing and services, alongside the rise of aspirational travellers.” She added that the multi-hotel framework agreement with the Rajdarbar Group reflects the Ginger brand’s strong potential across metros, state capitals, commercial centres, industrial townships, pilgrimage destinations and leisure circuits.

Project Details and Growth Focus
The seven hotel sites will comprise a mix of greenfield and brownfield developments. The partnership has already commenced with the opening of the 59-key Ginger Gurugram, Sector 1, located in Palam Vihar, Haryana. Under this agreement, the pipeline is expected to add over 1,000 keys through fully fitted lease arrangements across destinations including Jaipur, Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Hisar and Karnal.
Vasudev Rakesh Garg, Director, Rajdarbar Group, highlighted the group’s focus on unlocking hospitality potential in Tier-2 cities across North India. He noted that the partnership aims to bring Ginger hotels to high-growth locations such as Jaipur, Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Hisar and Karnal, adding that IHCL has been a pioneer in India’s midscale hospitality segment. He expressed confidence in the reimagined Ginger brand’s appeal across these high-potential markets.
