Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (ASPHL) has reported a strong operating performance for the first quarter of FY27, supported by robust occupancy, continued RevPAR leadership and expansion across high-potential markets.

For the quarter ended June 2026, the company recorded revenue from operations of INR 166.8 crore, an 8.1% increase year-on-year. Operating EBITDA rose 3.3% to INR 47 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) stood at INR 11.5 crore, compared with INR 13.4 crore in Q1 FY26.

The company reported 92% occupancy during the quarter, described as the highest in India, while maintaining its leadership in RevPAR within the upper-upscale segment.

Expanding Beyond Metros

ASPHL’s growth strategy continues to focus on expanding its presence across emerging hospitality markets, particularly Tier II and Tier III cities. During the year, the company acquired control of Zillion Hotels and Resorts Private Limited, Fisherman’s Grove Resorts Private Limited and Thali Hotels and Destinations Private Limited, strengthening its presence across high-potential tourism destinations, including Mumbai and Kerala.

The company currently operates 42 hotels with 2,677 keys, with another 45 hotels comprising 4,042 keys under development. This takes its planned inventory to 6,719 keys by FY2030, reflecting the company’s ambitions to build a larger pan-India hospitality portfolio.

Focus on Long-Term Growth

Commenting on the performance, Vijay Dewan, Managing Director, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, said the company had begun FY27 with positive momentum despite a challenging operating environment.

He highlighted the company’s 92% occupancy and continued RevPAR leadership in the upper-upscale segment, while pointing to record sales of serviced apartments at the company’s EM Bypass, Kolkata project as a key contributor to improved cash flows during the quarter.

Dewan also emphasised the company’s expanding hotel development pipeline and the continued rollout of Flurys as important drivers of its future growth.

ASPHL’s portfolio has also received international recognition, with Ran Baas The Palace, Patiala, and The Lotus Palace, Chettinad, adding to the company’s growing profile as a design-led and experience-focused hospitality group.

With an expanding development pipeline, growing presence in emerging markets and continued investment in its F&B and retail brands, ASPHL is positioning itself for sustained growth while strengthening its presence across India’s evolving hospitality landscape.
