Indian Hotels Company Limited has joined hands with Gulshan Group to develop a 57-floor luxury project along the Noida Expressway. The development will house a 150-room Taj hotel alongside 74 Taj-branded serviced apartments, with an estimated investment of ₹1,000 crore (approximately $120 million). The project is targeted for completion by 2031.

The collaboration marks a strategic push by Gulshan Group to align its developments with global luxury benchmarks. In a statement, the company emphasized that partnering with Taj reflects its ambition to deliver high-end, internationally competitive real estate offerings in the National Capital Region.

Vision for an Iconic Address

The partnership with Taj strengthens Gulshan’s focus on projects that meet global standards. The Noida-based firm, led by Gulshan Nagpal, has delivered more than 10 million square feet of residential and commercial space across Noida and the NCR.

“This collaboration represents more than a partnership — it is a convergence of two legacy-driven brands committed to excellence,” Nagpal said. “Bringing Taj to Noida under Gulshan’s vision shapes the city’s luxury narrative and delivers an address that will set a benchmark for generations. We are investing Rs 1,000 crores (more than $120 million) to make it both iconic and one of India’s first branded serviced apartment projects.”

Yukti Nagpal, Director, Gulshan Group, highlighted that the project reflects the group’s forward-looking vision. She noted that by combining hospitality with real estate, the development aims to elevate luxury living to an entirely new level. “With Taj, we are envisioning India’s tallest Taj Hotel, which has the potential to become a major landmark in the country,” she remarked.

Demand for Branded Residences on the Rise

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, highlighted the broader market context driving the partnership. With India now among the world’s top five economies, he noted that rising affluence is fuelling demand for luxury hospitality and branded residences in urban centres.

“The unveiling of this landmark Taj hotel and branded residences development will set a benchmark for luxury in the National Capital Region,” he said, adding that IHCL is pleased to deepen its collaboration with Gulshan Group.

IHCL continues to expand aggressively under its “Accelerate 2030” strategy, which focuses on portfolio growth, brand diversification, and asset-light development. As of February, the company’s portfolio stood at 615 hotels, with an additional 255 properties in the pipeline—underscoring its strong growth trajectory in India’s evolving hospitality market.
