IHCL Goa hosted Tech Fest 2026 at Taj Cidade de Goa, bringing together engineering leaders, hospitality professionals and technology partners to explore how intelligent infrastructure is redefining the future of sustainable hotels.

The event served as a collaborative platform to showcase emerging technologies that are transforming hotel operations through enhanced efficiency, sustainability and guest-centric innovation. It highlighted IHCL's strategic focus on integrating smart engineering solutions that deliver operational excellence while supporting long-term environmental stewardship.

As guest expectations continue to evolve, hospitality is no longer defined solely by exceptional service. Today’s travellers increasingly seek experiences that are sustainable, environmentally responsible and enabled by intelligent technology.

Tech Fest 2026 demonstrated how digital innovation can seamlessly strengthen hotel operations while reducing environmental impact. From predictive maintenance to intelligent automation, the showcased solutions reflected a future where hotels are not only operationally efficient but also resilient, sustainable and designed around evolving guest needs.

Innovation for Operational Excellence

The exhibition featured a range of advanced technologies designed to improve efficiency, safety and resource management. Smart energy management systems, IoT-enabled monitoring and predictive maintenance solutions illustrate how real-time data can optimise electricity, water and fuel consumption while improving asset performance and reducing downtime.

Highlights included high-efficiency chillers that lower energy consumption and carbon emissions, alongside advanced indoor air quality systems at Taj Cidade de Goa that maintain PM2.5 levels below 10, creating one of the healthiest indoor environments for guests and associates. Robotic carpet and floor-cleaning systems further demonstrated how automation can improve productivity while allowing hotel teams to focus on personalised guest service.
