Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has been awarded ‘Best Hotels – Service Excellence’ at the prestigious Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) International Travel Awards 2026, presented during ITB Berlin. The recognition reinforces IHCL’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and further strengthens the global reputation of its flagship brand, Taj Hotels, as a benchmark for luxury hospitality.

The honour underscores IHCL’s sustained focus on service leadership, operational excellence and people-centric hospitality—values that continue to shape the group’s expansion across key international and domestic markets.

Adding to the company’s success, three of IHCL’s senior leaders were also recognised with the ‘Individual Excellence in Hospitality’ award for their contributions to the industry. Parveen Chander, Executive Vice President – Commercial; Gaurav Pokhariyal, Executive Vice President – Human Resources; and Satyajeet Krishnan, Senior Vice President – Operations, were each honoured for driving innovation, operational excellence and talent development across the organisation.

The PATWA International Travel Awards are among the travel and tourism industry’s most respected accolades. Organised by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association, the awards recognise governments, organisations, brands, tourism leaders and individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievement, innovation and leadership in advancing the global travel and hospitality sector.
