Turkish Airlines leads as Google’s launch partner for Next-Generation baggage location technology.

Turkish Airlines has entered into a collaboration with Google, marking another milestone in the airline’s digital transformation strategy focused on improving the end-to-end travel experience. As a launch partner for Google’s new Find Hub “share item location” feature, Turkish Airlines now accepts Find Hub–generated location links as part of its official baggage recovery process, enabling faster and more efficient resolution of delayed or misplaced luggage.
Under the collaboration, passengers travelling with a Find Hub–compatible tracker tag or network accessory attached to their baggage can generate a secure location link via the Find Hub app. This link can be shared directly with a Turkish Airlines baggage representative, providing precise, real-time location data to support quicker baggage recovery and return.
Passengers can open the Find Hub app, select the missing item, and tap “share item location” to generate a unique, secure URL. Once shared with a Turkish Airlines representative, the airline’s teams can view the item’s location as it updates. Passengers retain full control throughout the process: sharing can be stopped at any time, links automatically expire after seven days, and sharing is disabled once the item is detected back with its owner. All location data is encrypted to ensure passenger privacy.
